Hunger in our community is a problem that we can solve.

In Greater Cincinnati alone, hunger affects over 270,00 people annually, nearly 15% of the population.

Every week, hundreds of people visit the Healing Center for groceries to feed their families.

For nearly 18 years, the Healing Center has served our local community – providing hope and showing that when we come together, no one has to go hungry.

You can respond to this need by joining the Hunger Walk in partnership with Freestore Foodbank.

Our goal is to raise $150,000 through the Hunger Walk.

This will supply the Healing Center Marketplace grocery for an entire year and feed 5,000 families, including 15,000 children and adults.

At the Healing Center food pantry, guests shop for their groceries using shared shopping carts. Each cart is used multiple times each morning as it moves through the Marketplace. That means one cart is not just used by one family—it helps several families get the food they need.

$30 Event Registration Sponsor a shopping cart: Feeds 1 family

Join us downtown on Memorial Day to walk or run! While attendance is optional, every registration directly purchases food for our guests.
$150 Donation Sponsor a cart for a DAY: Feeds 5 families

Your gift provides enough food for dozens of people, whether you join us at the race or support from home.
$750 Donation Sponsor a cart for a WEEK: Feeds 25 families
