As a community that is helping each other thrive, we realize it takes more than food to make a lasting impact in the lives of our guests. Our goal is for the Healing Center to be a place where people feel good about coming, an environment where true relationships and transformation can occur.
So the money raised through this year's Hunger Walk will also help create a shopping experience that communicates the dignity and worth of each individual and reflects God’s love for them.
Each year, the Healing Center participates in only one fundraiser: the Annual Freestore Foodbank Hunger Walk & 5K Run.
Did you know? The Healing Center serves more than 3,000 children, senior citizens and adults each month, so the Hunger Walk is critical to our service to the community.
