HOW CAN YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
Each week, the Healing Center's food pantry called, "The Marketplace," offers more than 400 families the opportunity to choose from a wide variety of food items including:
- fresh produce
- dairy
- meat selections
- pantry staples
These food items at The Marketplace are provided by the FreeStore Foodbank, individuals, groups, and retailers like Kroger, Target and Costco .
The food provided through the Marketplace creates margin in people’s lives to help households move out of crisis and begin to thrive.
Give
A financial gift to the Healing Center can help fund the staff, resources, and tools needed to support the store operations. You can become part of the mission of the Healing Center by making a tax-deductible financial gift.
A donation of pantry items can be donated in the drop box located around the back of the Healing Center or placed in the wooden bins located around the church building.

Volunteer
Each day from Tuesday to Saturday the Healing Center is open either preparing or distributing food to our guests and we need many volunteers to make the operations of the Marketplace possible. Roles include both guest facing in the store as well as preparation work in the back getting items ready to go in the stores.
This is a great place for groups to serve. Your small group, a service learning project from a school, or work give back service day can be accommodated in our warehouse. We also have a monthly warehouse work day for volunteers to come and help.
There are so many needs to make the Warehouse store function we need many volunteers just like you to sort, setup, organize, and facilitate the operations of the Marketplace. There are serving opportunities for individuals and groups to support the Wearhouse. Every other week as a guest your household is able to shop in The Marketplace. To use this service please come to the Healing Center during our regular serving hours of Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday mornings of 9 am to 11 am or Thursday evenings from 6:30 pm to 8 pm.
