Do you work for a company that makes matching gift contributions to non-profit organizations?
If so, you may be able to double your financial donations to the Healing Center. Many companies desire to contribute to the organizations their employees support.
For example, in response to the economic recession, GE Foundation will double all matching gifts made by GE employees and retirees to qualified non-profit organizations helping with food and shelter in the United States throughout 2009. Gifts previously matched dollar-for-dollar will now be matched two-for-one. If you are a GE employee or retiree, or would like to know if your company has a similar giving program, please contact your company Human Resource Department, or if you have any questions please contact Judy Gillens at gillens [at] healingcentercincinnati.org or call 346-4080, ext. 235.
Here’s how to take part in our Matching Gifts program:
1. SEARCH: Contact your employer's human resources office and ask if your company matches employee donations.
2. FILL OUT: Print or request your company's matching gift form or submit via your workplace intranet. Review the program guidelines to see if The Healing Center is eligible.
3. SEND: Mail or e-mail completed form to the Healing Center.
We'll handle the rest, and the company will send its matching donation directly to the Healing Center.

Community Giving Programs
Does your employer have a community giving program?
The Healing Center is pursuing grants to help with ongoing funding. Many companies have community giving programs that require employees to nominate an organization for funding opportunities. Companies desire to recognize and support organizations that their employees serve in or are affiliated with.
Let us know if you or your immediate family works for a company that may have an employee-led Community Giving Program. We will be happy to find out what the nominating process is for your employer. Usually this is simply a one-page recommendation form that alerts the company that the organization (The Healing Center) is eligible to apply for funding.
